Joe Cox
Vice President of Enterprise Infrastructure
Joe Cox joined Dohmen in January 2011 as Vice President of Outsourced Information Services. Previously, he was Vice President of Outsourced IT Services at TSR Solutions.
Joe has faced a variety of challenges during his career, including monitoring and managing a network infrastructure that simultaneously served 50 clients over six continents, in industries ranging from medical imaging to automotive manufacturing.
He has spent over a decade leading technology teams, teaching them to anticipate the needs of the companies they served and encouraging a daily focus on innovation and improvement.
Joe’s goals at Dohmen include containing spending during its growth and more efficiently using resources throughout the enterprise to provide a secure, easy-to-use infrastructure that is accessible from anywhere for our company’s employees.
He has a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is on the governing body of the Milwaukee CIO Executive Summit.
Personally speaking – What was the most exciting life event (aside from a family milestone) you’ve experienced?
“It was coaching a team of 10-year-olds, including my kids, that won a semifinal soccer game that was tied after an overtime period. It remained tied until our last player took the last shot of a shoot out. Our kids were so alive with energy and emotion that they were laughing one minute and crying the next. I’ve enjoyed playing a variety of sports throughout my life, but the five years spent coaching was much more rewarding – and that year-end tournament carried the fun and emotion of a great movie.”
