Terry Adams
President, PlanIT, Inc.
Terry Adams is President of PlanIT, Inc., a leading Milwaukee-based health analytics vendor, which Dohmen acquired in February 2011.
Terry and Brian Behnken, PlanIT’s Vice President of Operations, founded the firm in 1998 to help companies and healthcare plans gain clarity around health care costs. PlanIT provides services to more than 1,000 employers representing almost 2 million members. The firm was established on a foundation of honesty, integrity, experience and sound business practices, and has continually evolved and grown. In 2004, Karl Kvool, PlanIT’s Vice President of Information Technology, became an equity partner, bringing an extensive technology background to PlanIT.
Previously Terry worked at Milwaukee-based insurance agency Frank F. Haack & Associates, where he was a key resource in the development of data analysis and reporting capabilities for large group clients. He began his health insurance career in 1988 at Time Insurance Company (Fortis/Assurant Health). During his six years there, his primary focus was the development of health care data reporting and analysis capabilities.
Terry graduated magna cum laude with a degree in business from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
