CEO Cynthia (Dohmen) LaConte announced today that Dohmen has acquired Milwaukee-based Focused Fork, a personalized whole-foods preparation and distribution business.
The first Minority Health Film Festival to be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin kicks off today, and will be held through September 15. The Milwaukee-based Dohmen Company Foundation chose to sponsor the festival because it features unique film selections, community forums, and an interactive health fair providing the latest information about improving the health statuses of minority populations, said Foundation President, Dale Mittelstaedt.
The Dohmen Company, on the heels of a successful exit from the pharmaceutical industry, has made an unprecedented change to its organizational structure, becoming the first company in the nation to transition from a multi-generation, family-owned business to a company wholly owned by a private foundation.
